Steven R. Hackett, 41, of Egg Harbor City was charged with burglary, two counts of attempted burglary and two counts of criminal mischief, according to Absecon police.
Hackett was arrested after the incidents in the early morning hours on Wednesday, Feb. 15, police said.
Officers were called to locations on Showellton Avenue and Marlin Road where they discovered that a male had entered an occupied home and attempted to gain entry into several others.
Hackett was located and arrested without incident. He was being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
